For those who live and work in the area, join us every Wednesday for a special CHAIR YOGA class designed to make it easy to do Yoga. In CHAIR YOGA, participants will focus on the foundational Yoga practices of concentration, breathing, physical stretching and relaxation techniques. Participants will also engage in poses and stretches both in and out of a chair to gain strength, flexibility, and balance. Enjoy movements in a seated position for a majority of the class time and then move to standing—behind or beside the chair; using it for support and balance enhancement. The instructor will also incorporate props such as straps and blocks as necessary. Although some participants may like to change into comfortable or loose fitting clothing for class (like work out pants, T-shirts, etc.), you do not have to! Participants can enjoy this Yoga session in slacks or jeans and a comfortable top, which makes this the perfect lunchtime class for those who work and live nearby. Sign-up today via
