Join others in the City Ave District to take care of our community with various upcoming opportunities to spring into action.

Volunteer Day at Merion Botanical Park, March 21st

A sure way to fix cabin fever is to be in the fresh air doing something good while hanging out with fun people. You can do exactly that on March 21st from 9 am – noon (or longer) during this year’s first volunteer day at Merion Botanical Park.

The group will be pulling invasive plants, cutting back perennials and planting 50-100 native shrubs. Gloves, tools and snack will be provided. Bring your water bottle if you’d like and maybe your favorite shovel, too. Children are always welcome to hang out or help out.

Morris Park Trail Work Day Volunteer Opportunities, March 21st and April 18th

Help our Friends of Morris Park with their trail work day volunteer opportunities. The work days will take place on March 21st and April 18th, both starting at 10 am at 66th and Sherwood Streets.

8th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup, April 11th

The 8th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup is set for Saturday, April 11th from 9 am to 2 pm. This is a great way for you, your family, your friends and your neighbors to get involved and do your part to keep our city looking its best.
