Bowman Ave to close, Lower Merion Township

Bowman Avenue, in Merion, from Baird Road to Wynnewood Road, will be closed Monday through Saturday, starting Thursday, December 8^th, 2016 through Saturday, December 17^th, 2016 for the installation of a new water main and services.  The approved road closure hours are 9:00am – 3:00pm daily, Monday to Saturday.  Buses and emergency vehicles will have through access whenever possible.  Residents will have access to their properties but at times will need to enter from a different direction due to changing work zones.

Utility Line Services (ULS) has notified Merion School and made arrangements with Lower Merion School District during the road closure.  A detour will be posted around the work zone.
