City Avenue Special Services District is planning single lane closures on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Orchard Road and 53rd Street in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County and Philadelphia, on Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for drainage improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
City Avenue Special Services District will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
