BALA CYNWYD, PA — Gov. Tom Wolf announced recently that 50 highway, bridge, transit, aviation, and bike and pedestrian projects in 23 counties were selected for $44.5 million in funding through the Multimodal Transportation Fund. And more than $626,000 will be going toward improving safety on City Avenue.

City Avenue Special Services District is getting $626,386 for road and pedestrian safety improvements on City Avenue, according to Wolf’s office.

“Transportation is critical to connecting communities and economies, and we are an important partner in bringing progress across the state,” Wolf said. “These investments will improve overall mobility and safety while bolstering commercial projects.”
