King of Prussia, PA – City Avenue Special Services District is planning single lane closures on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Berwick Road and Lapsley Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County and Philadelphia, on Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for drainage improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

City Avenue Special Services District will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
