“There is no question that stormwater management is a priority issue in Lower Merion Township, and there is also no denying that projects to remedy problems can be expensive.” Main Line Media news recently covered the development of a task force created to evaluate Lower Merion Township’s stormwater management program and needs.

 

Board of commissioners president, Liz Rogan, explains the committee would review current projects and identify new activities to address the “quantity and quality of runoff.” In addition  it may explore incentives for private owners to improve stormwater management on their properties, as well as the funding options that are available for public projects.
