Update 11/14/17

The project hours have been adjusted to take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  There will be no road blocks or interruptions outside of those hours.  Presidential Boulevard will be completely open to all traffic at all other times.  There should be full access to all business and buildings at all times.

Second, Presidential Boulevard will NOT be closed in its entirety.  It will only be blocked to “through traffic” at the designated crosswalk site, which is located between the Presidential Boulevard side of 555 E. City Avenue, and 1 Presidential Boulevard.  Thus, motorists traveling on Presidential Boulevard approaching from the direction of City Avenue, and likewise from the direction of Monument Road,  will only be able to get as far as the construction zone.
